Apple iPhone is insanely popular on the market. Apple has been improving its iPhone series since release, adding new features while revamping the existing ones. Last year, Apple welcomed three new iPhones to the world, but they bring with them small refinements and upgrades. Apple is planning something special for its iPhone lineup this year in an attempt to boost its sales. Rumors regarding this year’s iPhone lineup have been circulating around for months, giving us a glimpse of what’s coming to new phones. Reports claim that 2019 iPhone will come with a 10MP camera on the front. Besides, the camera will include support for TrueDepth technology.
In reality, the TrueDepth camera system is not something new when it comes to Apple devices as it has been part of 2018 iPhone lineup for months. The adoption of the TrueDepth camera allows for a better Face ID. Indeed, Face ID is Apple’s new security measure that allows users to unlock their device with a simple glance. Basically, Face ID takes advantage of the TrueDepth camera on the front to map your expressions.
Last month, sources said that the 2019 iPhone will feature a triple camera setup at launch. In reality, Apple has been working on the new camera technology for its future iPhones and iPads for years. Apple first integrated a dual-camera setup into its iPhone 7 Plus, allowing for 2x optical zoom. The iPhone XS and XS Max feature two snappers at the rear while the iPhone XR retains the single-camera shooter. Reports claim that Apple will continue to use a single snapper on one of 2019 iPhone models. However, the Cupertino firm will improve it to allow for better photos in low-light conditions.
Earlier this week, sources say that 2019 iPhones will feature USB-C ports at launch. This seems plausible seeing that the 2018 iPad Pro features an USB-C port. Sources add that Apple will announce new iPhones in September. Besides, there will be two new iPhone models this year. We are also expecting to see the unveiling of new iPads and MacBook Pro models in 2019. Reports say that two new iPads will make their debut in March 2019.
