2019 is here and Apple is planning something new to boost its sales. Sources say that Apple will hold an event in March 2019 where it will announce a bunch of new products. Last year, the Cupertino firm announced a 9.7 inch iPad at its education event. The iPad replaces the Air 2 on the market while adding a slew of improvements to the series.
One of the biggest changes coming to the 9.7 inch iPad lies in its support for Apple Pencil. The Apple Pencil was once exclusive to the iPad Pro lineup, but Apple finally brought it to its cheaper iPad model. At this year’s March event, we are expecting to see the unveiling of a new iPad. Rumors say that Apple will announce a cheaper iPad at the event to target the mid-range segment.
According to the latest reports, Apple will unveil its new subscription services at this year’s March event. In reality, Apple has a number of subscription services out there like Apple Music, iTunes, or iCloud. Sources say that there will be a TV service at the event. Rumors regarding Apple’s new TV subscription have been out there for months. Tech experts say that Apple has been in talks with content providers out there, which paves the way for its TV service this year. Apart from a TV service, Apple is expected to introduce the next generation AirPods at the event. In reality, sources say that the AirPods 2 will see the light of day at WWDC, but Apple hardly releases new hardware products at its June event.
Reports claim that Apple will hold the March event at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Campus. That’s the same place where Apple held the September event last year. Besides, the Cupertino firm will stream the event on its devices. And it remains unknown when exactly the event will take place. However, sources say that the event will be held on March 25. Apple’s next event is WWDC, which takes place in June. Sources claim that this year’s WWDC event will be held on June 3 and we are expecting to see the AirPower and a new MacBook.
