Keep getting iMessage spam to your iPhone/iPad from someone you don’t know? In this case, you may want to beat spammers and get rid of unwanted messages on your iOS device. Thankfully, Apple gives you the ability to report and block iMessage spam on iOS. Let’s walk through how to do that.
Steps to report iMessage Spam on iOS
Step 1: First off, you are supposed to fire up the Messages app.
Step 2: Once you are in, tap the Unknowns Senders tab. Note that the tab will not be available if you have yet to enable the Filter unknown senders feature. So, you are better off enabling this option and all iMessages from unknown senders will be filtered to a new tab named Unknown Senders.
Step 3: On this tab, tap a message. Tap Report Junk located beneath the message.
Step 4: Lastly, tap Delete and Report Junk in the pop-up menu.
You just need to repeat the same steps for all the junk messages you have got.
From now on, that unknown number will not be able to send you iMessages. It’s worth noting that this feature only works for iMessages, not for regular SMS text. Just jump to the next section to get to know how you can block Text spam.
