In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the steps to pair Apple Watch with your iPhone. Before moving ahead, we are going to pair Apple Watch with an iPhone X, but the process is the same on other iPhone models. You also need to run the latest iOS software update on your device. Head to Settings > General > Software Update and download any available updates.
How to pair Apple Watch with your iPhone X
Step one: Turn on your Apple Watch. To do this, press and hold the side button until Apple logo shows up (make sure you keep your Apple Watch and iPhone close together)
Step two: Next up, hit Continue when you see the message saying Use your iPhone to set up this Apple Watch and then go through the pairing process
Step three: You will be asked to set up as new or restore from a backup. Select your option and then choose which wrist you wish to wear your Apple Watch
Step four: Agree to terms and conditions and then hit Agree to confirm your action (enter your Apple ID password if asked)
Step five: If you have turned off Find My iPhone on your iPhone, you will be asked to enable Activation Lock. To do this, provide your Apple ID details
Step six: Once you are done, you now need to set up Location Services, route tracking, and Siri. After that, create a passcode or add a long password. Select your option and move to the next step
Step seven: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the setup. Once everything is ready, press the Digital Crown button.
