Step one: First off, you need to launch the Camera app from your home screen and then make sure that Portrait mode is selected before proceeding
Step two: Next up, take a shot as usual and open your new photo from the Photos app on your iPhone
Step three: Once you are in, hit the Edit button at the bottom of the photo. After that, you will notice that the Depth button at the top is now yellow, so you simply need to tap on it to remove depth effect from your photo
Step four: Hit the Done button once you are satisfied with your work
If you change your mind and you want to re-add depth effect to your photo, simply repeat the above process and hit the Depth button again.
How to get Portrait mode on older iPhone models
As mentioned earlier, there is an exciting app called FabFocus that allows you to get Portrait mode on iPhone 7 or older iPhone. The app is a paid package that cost you $1.99 in the App Store.
Step one: Head to the App Store and buy the app. Once you are done, hit the Install button to start downloading the app to your device
Step two: Once you are done, launch the app on your iPhone and grant it access to your Camera and Photos
Step three: Hit the shutter button to snap a shot and tap on the Start button to get the blur effect.
