How to set up Timed Access Control on your Apple AirPort router

The only answer is setting up Timed Access Control on your Apple AirPort router. In other words, this feature allows you to master how and when the internet can activate in your home.

How to set up Time Access Control on the Mac

Step 1: Initially, you launch the Airport Utility app on your Mac.

Step 2: Next, you choose one AirPort which is internet-facing or more.

Step 3: After clicking Edit, you will be asked to enter your Password.

Step 4: Then, you choose the Network tab, which locates at the top of the application screen.

Step 5: To move up, you need to check the Enable Access Control box, followed by clicking the Timed Access Control button.

How to set up Timed Access Control on iPhone or iPad

Step 1: First and foremost, you have to make sure that AirPort Utility is downloaded and launched on your iPhone/iPad.

Step 2: Similar to Mac, you can choose one AirPort or more, and you tap Edit.

Step 3: Then, you need to Enter your Password, if prompted.

Step 4: After tapping on Advanced, you tap on Timed Access and New Entry, respectively.

Step 5: Next, you can supplement a description like “John’s Laptop Access” and paste in the corresponding MAC address, for instance, John’s MAC address for John’s Laptop Access.

Step 6: Now, you tap on Access Restrictions

Step 7: To choose the timed access you wish. You can choose certain days among a diversity of hours.

Step 8: Eventually, you simply tap on Done and Save, followed by restarting your AirPort, if prompted.
