Siri is one of the best personal assistants out there. Apple has been working on improving the company’s virtual helper since the launch day, expanding its usefulness beyond just being able to show sport scores, get questions to answers, or set reminders. Apple’s personal helper sometimes uses explicit words or language, which may be inappropriate for some users.
Fortunately, you can easily disable explicit language for Siri on your iPhone and iPad, without the need for a third-party app to be installed on your device. iOS includes an exciting feature called Restrictions, which lets users block certain words or phrases.
In this tutorial, we will go through the steps to turn off explicit language for Siri on your iPhone. Before we begin, make sure you are now running iOS 11 and have turned on Restrictions on your iPhone. To activate Restrictions on your iPhone, open Settings and then select General. After that, hit Restrictions, then turn on the switch for Restrictions and enter your passcode to confirm.
