Samsung Galaxy S10 to arrive at MWC 2019

The Samsung Galaxy S10 is among the most anticipated smartphones on the market. Earlier this year, Samsung debuted the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, with a lot of new features and changes. However, the S9 and S9 Plus fail to satisfy Samsung in terms of sales performance.

Samsung needs something special to compete directly with Apple on the market. We have heard a lot of rumors circulating about the next generation Galaxy S device. Sources say that the upcoming Galaxy S10 will come with a lot of new things, ranging from an under-display fingerprint scanner to a new design.

According to sources, the Galaxy S10 will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona, with shipments arriving in March. Samsung’s move aims to take on other rivals on the market and attract users worldwide.

At this year’s MWC, the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus took the center stage, but both devices have seen a slow sales performance since the launch day, mainly due to their same old design language. According to sources, the Galaxy S10 will feature a 6.3-inch screen. And the panels will be AMOLED, like previous Galaxy S phones.

2019 is expected to be a big year for Samsung. The South Korean firm is rumored to unveil its first foldable phone. The device is expected to make its debut at CES 2019 in Las Vegas. Tech experts say that Samsung will ship between 300,000 and 500,000 units in 2019. It still remains what is coming in the foldable device next year.

In August, Samsung will unveil the next generation Galaxy Note. The upcoming Galaxy Note phone might come with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The S9 and S9 Plus were previously rumored to feature a fingerprint scanner that works under the display. However, we saw nothing at the unveiling event.

Samsung has a lot of work to do if they want to overthrow Apple on the market. Samsung was falling behind Apple during the first three months of the year. Apple shipped more than 16 million iPhone X units in Q1/2018, helping the company grab the number one position in the smartphone market.
